Job Title: HVAC Residential Services Operations Manager Pay Range: $100K - $150K Reports to : General Manager JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective: To manage the sales, operation and profitability of the company's Retail Department. This includes, but is not limited to, the sales, service and commercial departments. Establish company selling goals and budgets with the assistance of the General Manager. To work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to maximize capacity, efficiency and profitability. Manage staff and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installations, every time. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. General business hours are Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p with some weeknights, weekends and evenings. Required Qualifications/Experience Proven track record in installation, with 2 years supervisory experience. Good presentation skills; able to convey confident and decisive messages. Multitasker who enjoys working in the field with diverse teams on varied projects. Detail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self and others. Passionate about AirCo and loves the brand. Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude on life. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Working knowledge of construction, HVAC and plumbing industries Essential Duties Lead by example Show technicians how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction. Set expectations for each installation, including safety and code requirements. Ensure jobs are properly staged; coordinate and inspect equipment, plan and results. Conduct training to ensure on-time, high quality installations. Monitor performance of installation technicians and advise them on how to improve and encourage growth towards future developments. Promote enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings and 1:1's. Adhere to the company's plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably. Can this include repairs after job has been completed? Ensure the dress code has been followed to project a positive and professional image to clients. Maintain our service vehicles as they are mobile billboards of the company. Review work order results and ensure quality and order completeness. Prioritize work orders based on pre-determined ranking, customer and financial criteria. Review technician performance and behavior to maximize customer service and operational efficiency. Assist with the development and implementation of scheduled marketing activities, create and maintain company marketing calendar. Analyze and control job expenses to meet budget. Other duties as assigned. Work Environment: This job regularly operates in a professional office environment with controlled temperatures and normal sound levels. However, this position may include working in an environment that consists of extreme variations due to conditions, including but not limited to: heat, cold, wet, wind, sunlight, absence of light, insects, animals, mammals, reptiles and other conditions deemed by worksite. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physical demands any also include reaching, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, crawling, squatting. Holding, carrying objects and lifting - including heavy objects such as equipment up to 200 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders including extension ladders. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
