Contract Overview This requirement is to provide Information Technology services and support for enhancement, maintenance and security of the Cyber CoE G6's Network, Enterprise Level Solutions, and IT Services from the Unclassified to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) classifications. The G6 will work to design, maintain, and secure IT solutions for the Cyber CoE. Position General Responsibilities Manage and maintain dynamic server and desktop environment to include but not limited to Microsoft IIS, Microsoft server, Apache Server, MySQL, Microsoft SQL and other dynamic services. Ability to maintain servers running various services such as domain controllers, active directory, file shares, group policy. Have frequent contact with customers and must maintain good customer relations as well as understand and apply the processes of project management. Install, configure and manage physical and virtual routers, switches, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), servers, etc. Provide production support to include problems resolution, technology moves, new user's configuration, hardware, build and operate functions, operating systems, application support, desktops/laptops roll-outs, administration, etc. Monitor web applications, servers and other systems using both manual methods and automated tools. Serves as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO)/ Information Assurance Network Officer (IANO). Assist the ISSMs in meeting their duties and responsibilities. Implement and enforce all DoD IS and PIT system cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity-related documentation. In coordination with the ISSM, initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered and ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all cybersecurity-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the ISSO. Ensure that all DoD IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals. Support implementation of G6 policies and procedures. Develop comprehensive document naming conventions, data tagging policies, and data organization for the unit. Assist the G6 to design briefings, text documents, templates, and other recurring products. Assist the G6 to provide expertise and assist in the training in using Networking tools, processes, and systems. Remain abreast of current and future trends in Cloud computing and content virtualization. The candidate shall possess the programming background and ability to write and/or modify programming scripts as needed in order to meet requirements. Provide support for mobile devices within the organization for mobile device services, support, troubleshooting and maintenance. Serve as VTC Administrator for NIPR, SIPR and JWICS. Position Qualifications The candidate(s) shall have five (5) years of experience in the following areas: Server and System Administration: Ability to manage and maintain dynamic server environment to include but not limited to Microsoft IIS , Microsoft server, Apache Server, MySQL, Microsoft SQL and other dynamic services. Ability to maintain servers running various services such as domain controllers, active directory, file shares, group policy. Business process improvement and engineering. Help Desk Support. Mobile Device Management: Submit, track and process mobile device requests for the command to include new cell phone requests in accordance with command guidelines on authorizations. Perform basic mobile device support and maintenance. Version control. Search engines. Cloud and Virtualization Technology: Use of virtualization and cloud technologies (ex. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMWare, Citrix). Infrastructure Administration: Ability to use infrastructure monitoring technologies (ex. Splunk, SolarWinds, Nagios). SharePoint: Ability to manage permissions, sites web part pages, web part configuration, built-in lists and document libraries, custom lists and libraries, InfoPath forms, workflows and other features and functionality. Network Administration: Ability to configure, secure and maintain network equipment including switches and routers. VTC Administration: Ability to set-up, configure and monitor VTC Systems and perform basic troubleshooting and support for VTC Systems. Use organizational VTC management tools to monitor the availability and scheduling of VTC Systems. The candidate must meet the requirements of an IA-IAT Level II with the following criteria as per FG NEC policy: (a) IAW DFARS Clause 252.239-XXXX, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification: the most current version of DoD 8570.01-M; and the most current version of Army IA Training Best Business Practices 05-PR-M-0002, the ENTERPRISE DIVISION Technologist (Server Admin/Help Desk Technician) position is categorized as Information Assurance Technical Level (IAT) II (Network Administrator and Desktop Support). Personnel filling this position are required to: (1) Obtain and maintain current information assurance certification requirements for the position, which are currently: (1.1) IAT II baseline commercial certification (must have this cert when starting work). (1.2) Appropriate Computing Environment (CE) commercial certification (VCP-C, VCP5-DCV, and VCP5-DT), MCTS Server 2012 or current platform: Win 10 (70-680) or current platform , and CCNA IAW established timelines. (2) Receive IA appointment orders from Chain of Command. (3) Be monitored in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS). (4) Successfully complete Information Assurance Fundamentals on line course and exam at: https://ia.signal.army.mil/IAF/default.asp. (5) Complete Privileged Level Access Agreement (PLAA) annually. Must possess and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI for the life of the contract.
