Our corporate culture reiterates the importance of "Mission first, people always."JOB DESCRIPTION:Manage and maintain MCASP Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) environment and its associate devices to include all server stacks.Coordinate with MCASP Instructor Team to identify, troubleshoot and restore network outages in a timely manner to mitigate training distractions/disruptions.General house cleaning of MCASP Server Stacks located in the LLC to ensure optimal operating condition.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and maintaining a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), its associate devices to include several server stacks.Knowledgeable of the capabilities, operating characteristics, and advanced functions of a variety of types of office automation software relating to multiple Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS).Knowledgeable of telecommunications and networking standards, architectures, protocols and systems as it applies to various MCIS training devices, simulation, and simulator.Knowledgeable of configuration & troubleshoot routers and switches; manage VMware ESXi, VMware Workstation and NETAPPS which is part of the MCIS VLAN 4025.Must have a general knowledge of the capabilities, operating characteristics, and advanced functions of a variety of types of office automation software, MS Word, Excel, Spreadsheets, and MS Exchange, MS Office Visio, and their integration.Must have knowledge of telecommunications and networking standards, architectures, protocols and systems as it applies to training devices, simulation, simulators and instrumentation.Must have experience in MS servers, UNIX commands, configure routers and switches, configure/manage VMware ESXi, VMware Workstation and NETAPPS which is part of the Mission Command VLAN.Be proficient in wiring twisted pair, copper, and fiber cabling.Must be proficient in written and verbal communication skills.DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification to meet IAT-II requirements.Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 (70-410) and Configuring Advanced Server 2012 Services (70-412) or equivalent desiredVMware Certified Professional Network Virtualization 2019 or equivalent desiredCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent desiredISC Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
