INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Hands-on Internship Full Time (Flexible with class schedules) Office located in Little River district (7448 NE 4th Court, Miami, FL 33138) OVERVIEW: Amicon is seeking young professionals to join all sectors and teams across the firm's divisions. This is an exciting position which will expose you to South Florida's highest-level projects including all of the intricacies and stakeholders of the construction, real estate development and delivery process. Projects range from hospitality, mixed use and luxury residential. Currently, Amicon is managing over $1B in construction and real estate assets. In this role, you'll learn directly from project managers, seeing your classroom experience come to life and make major contributions to our project teams. Many of our valued team members have diverse backgrounds outside of real estate that include finance, psychology and sports. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Planning: Ability to plan and prioritize individual contributions and those of team members to achieve high-quality, timely results. Dependable and punctual for all work-related Relationships: Ability to earn respect through the credibility of construction knowledge and positive approach to problem solving. Ability to develop productive relationships within the project team, with contractors, and with design teams and Communication: Strong communication skills, including excellent ability to identify and understand requirements of the project team and to participate in collaborative problem solving. Ability to write proposals, monthly reports, and other related project documentation as Detail Orientation: Ability to successfully ensure the accuracy of project documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Professionalism: Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor and appearance at all times and perform well under project constraints and Field Experience: Ability to commute to and from the office and various job Willing to perform other duties as assigned by project management QUALIFICATIONS: Valid interest in pursuing career in Construction/Project Management required Junior or senior level in undergrad and graduate level students; pursuing bachelor's degree (Business, architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field preferred) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of project management software.
