General Handyman for multi-unit gym chain $20 Per Hour - 20 Hours Per Week Knowledge of fitness equipment repair a plus. Must have clean driving record Painting Light carpentry Light plumbing General Maintenance of Facilities Job Description: Perform general maintenance repairs: minor plumbing repairs, general carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and preventative maintenance work for health club chain in Warren, RI and Lincoln RI Replace overhead lamps in both incandescent and fluorescent overhead lighting fixtures and replace lighting ballasts as necessary Perform carpentry repair duties including doors, door handles and lockers Log maintenance and repair requests Job Qualifications: Must have good communication skills; both written and verbal. Basic skills with hand and some power tools required. Adaptable to changing work methods and flexibility during the workday is required. Routinely lift, pull, push, grasp and bend while lifting at least 50lbs or more This position involves traveling to various gyms Knowledge of fitness equipment repairs a plus. This position has opportunity to become a trained certified fitness equipment tech.
