CAREGIVERS NEEDED Join the Full Life team and make a real difference in someone's life Our average new full-time direct support worker earns up to $31,200 to $34,360 per year. Some earn up to $5000 more per year with overtime and volunteering to cover additional shifts. Additionally, full-time employees earn an annual benefit plan worth, on average, $9,600 per year. This includes: Health insurance with acupuncture and massage benefits, up to 1 week of paid time off, 3% employer match for a 401K retirement plan, workers compensation, and temporary disability insurance. This is a job where you can make a difference in other's lives and build a career Career path opportunities: Full Life's Executive Director, Program Director, QA and Training Manager, EH office manager, Program Specialist, Program Assistant, Program Coordinator, and Executive Assistant all started as Direct support Workers! Work independently with individuals in the community Full and part-time positions are available (part-time compensation and benefits are different from than full-time compensation listed above). OTHER BENEFITS Overtime is available in certain positions and any qualified employee can request extra hours, regardless of seniority to cover open shifts Hours available Monday-Sunday days, evenings, and overnight Health care stipend of $200 per month for eligible employees who have insurance through a spouse, dependent, or government. Student Loan Repayment Assistance for Full-Time employees Employee Assistance Program (EAP) includes free counseling for employees and immediate household members, legal consulting, financial consulting, etc. Employee appreciation events and regular activities Non-taxable mileage reimbursement up to $1.68 per hour worked (certain services) Additional temporary mileage reimburesement up to $0.90 per hour for a total of $2.58 per hour. Average new Direct Support workers have approximately 60 hours of paid training in their first year. Stable and predictable schedules - we offer both fixed and flexible schedules Job security - Full Life has never had layoffs for Direct Support Workers. Other industries lay off workers when their business or the economy slows. Full-Time hours - full-time hours are available for those who want full-time hours. Full Life is a government-funded organization supporting adults and children with developmental disabilities to live self-directed and purposeful lives.
