Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Must be able to build the product based on the blueprint with detailed accuracy. Requires use and familiarization with a tape measure, hand tools, and an ability to perform simple math and decimal to fraction conversions. Must be able to perform PMs and set up welding equipment as required. Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision. We have positions available on 3rd shift: (7p - 5:30a). EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 1 year of welding experience required. Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Candidate must have an ability to follow directions, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain excellent attendance . PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Assist other team members in lifting heavy or awkward boxes/panels from the machines to the conveyors.
