Comfort Systems USA Southwest is looking for a motivated Pipe Welder to join the team!! SUMMARY: Certified pipe welder utilizing a 1G MIG Pipe, 6G Wire Pipe Cert. Welder must have all tools necessary for pipe welding. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Fit-up pipe. Perform welds on a roll-out positioner on carbon steel pipe. Assembles a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic. Connects pipes, using welded, threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or grooved joints. Read and understand shop drawings. Reads isometric drawings. Works alone or with others productively. Maintain a positive work attitude. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE One-year shop welding experience.
