Description:
Foreman : The Foreman assists the SM in developing and adjusting forecasts for contract, work task, and work team workloads. They will also assists in planning travel to support installations and maintena nce tasks and supports the processes to ensure materials are available to support mission priorities. The Foreman also assists the SM with recurring Resource Management that includes inputs reflecting changes to the task/project tracker and master schedule. The Foreman ensures entries are based on current mission priorities and scheduling constraints and are coordinated across the contractor workforce and external customers associated with each task. The Foreman assists the SM in maintaining a cost schedule and tracking expenditures. The Foreman provides inputs on mission support activities for reports and reviews and works closely with the SM and staff on resource and staff tasking management. The Foreman assists in formal records management, quality assurance inspections, security assessments, and safety inspections. The Foreman assists the SM with contract administration support, equipment r eplacement requests, and facility maintenance . Required Qualifications : Minimum of bachelor degree in Project/Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business. Knowledge of: aerospace, automotive, or construction CAD/CAM design and fabrication techniques, methods and standards; fabrication machinery, tools, and equipment to include CNC - driven machinery; computer technology and programming; electrical/electronic systems circuitry. Five years minimum work experience in: managing/supervising in an industrial manufacturing environment; independently planning and accomplishing complete projects of broad scope and complexity; exercising considerable creativity and judgment to devise approaches to accomplish work, resolve design and operational problem s, and make decisions in situations where standard engineering methods, procedures, and techniques may not be applicable; preparing designs and specifications for various complex equipment items or systems; planning approaches to solve design problems; con ceiving and recommending new design techniques; resolving design problems with contract personnel, and assuring compatibility of design with other parts of the system; designing and coordinating test set - ups and experiments to prove or disprove the feasibi lity of preliminary designs; using untried/untested measurement techniques; improving the performance of equipment; advising equipment users on redesigns to solve unique operational deficiencies; planning approaches and conducting various experiments to de velop equipment or systems characterized by difficult performance requirements; arranging for fabrication of pilot models and determining testing procedures/methods Desired Qualifications : 1) Experience in commercial or military aerospace industrial comp lex. 2) Experience as a team leader or project leader on multi - disciplined team. 3) Understanding of Instructional System Design (ISD) as related to aircrew training for commercial or military aircraft.
