Our current opening is for a General Warehouse Laborer . What you'll do: Receive and sort incoming material, and load outgoing shipments Take direction from Supervisor to ensure all incoming non-ferrous material is accurately identified and categorized Communicate with the scale as to the proper area and operator for loading trucks arriving for shipment and as material is offloaded Perform process on material as needed and directed Assist with outgoing non-ferrous shipments by having material organized for effective loading, loading the container in a safe and efficient manner, confirming weights of materials loaded, and ensuring material is secured and travel worthy prior to release Perform required inspections of equipment and communicate any issues What we offer: Paid time off Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Quality incentives Set dayshift schedule with overtime available on Saturdays Growth opportunities and promotions from within Challenging and rewarding work environment Who we are looking for: Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check required High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1 year of forklift operating experience preferred Physical Demands: Walk/Move on flat surfaces, equipment and rugged outdoor terrain Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to tarp, chain or strap loads as needed Use fine motor grasping skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate tools and may use repetitive motions of the fingers, hand and wrist in doing so Perform tasks that require both close vision and distance vision proficiency Work in outdoor weather conditions Wear Personal Protective Equipment required to perform the task in a safe and effective manner Our Mission & Vision We are recognized as an industry leader and are a highly regarded scrap metal recycling and management company by both our scrap suppliers and consumers.
