Summary: The Manager of Facilities and Maintenance provides leadership and assists the Directors of Property Management and Maintenance in managing and overseeing the facilities and maintenance department on the day-to-day maintenance, preservation, and upkeep of EDEN's properties in addition to overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems). This position has supervisory, administrative, and community building responsibilities. The Manager of Facilities and Maintenance understands agency, (ADAMHS Board, ODMH, HUD, and OHFA) building standards and local community building codes, Ohio Tenant-Landlord Law and Fair Housing Guidelines and is able to communicate these to staff, agencies, and contractors. This position must be committed to the goal of helping EDEN residents live in and maintain, decent, safe, and sanitary housing. Education and Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of maintenance experience, and 5 years of supervisory experience and at least a high school diploma/equivalent and a HVAC Certification required. A bachelor's degree in Residential Property Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations A valid driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurance is required. A reliable personal vehicle for transportation to be utilized for work purposes is required.
