We are hiring a Technical Manager, Senior for an exciting opportunity located in Albany, Georgia . Job Description and Responsibilities Provide technical management support working with stakeholders and team members to coordinate and execute the day-to-day activities and processes of the data center operations. These actions are needed to deliver and manage services at agreed-upon levels of service for customers. Team consists of database administrators, windows systems administrators, Linus system administrators, Applications Manager, System Architect, Service Desk, and Mainframe support. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Act as both coordinator of task activities and to serve as the overall technical expert for successful completion of all IT Operations Support tasks, including database management, applications management, web and OS management, enterprise backup and recovery, virtual infrastructure/cloud management, and system architecture support in support of MARCORLOGCOM G6. Providing technical expertise and overall management of the IT infrastructure. Planning, implementing, and maintaining a stable technical infrastructure. Training and deploying appropriate personnel to build and operate the technology required to deliver and support the data center services. Managing the day-to-day activities required to operate and support the data center services. Assisting in assessing risk, identifying critical service, system dependencies, and defining and implementing appropriate changes. Assisting in projects during service design, service transition, and continual service improvement or operational projects, such as operating system upgrades, server consolidation, or physical/virtual moves. Desired KSA Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision Capable of working in a fast-evolving environment and support advancements in the industry Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications BS & 10 - 15 years experience 8570 IAT ii Certification (EG: Sec +) Program Manager Professional certification (preferred) or Project Plus At least one Computing Environment (CE) certifications (Linux Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Oracle Database, or Virtual Infrastructure/Cloud) Ability to perform duties with little or no supervision Minimum Clearance Secret clearance (interim secret clearance is acceptable on a case by case basis) Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time Ability to use a computer Additional Requirements Other duties as assigned Applicants may be required to show proof of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to be eligible for employment at some work sites ESM provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry, disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identification or any other characteristic protected by state, federal or local law.
