All-Guard is currently seeking a knowledgeable, self-motivated, and goal driven individual to be our Operations Manager. Position Overview: Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of an electronic security company. Duties and responsibilities include supervising field technicians and office staff, formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources. Primary Tasks: Manages, evaluates, and/or hires three subordinate supervisors; oversees a total of approximately 15-25 employees within multiple departments Interviews and recommends for hire new departmental personnel including field and office staff Prepares staff work schedules and assigns specific duties Provides input to the research and development of new and emerging products and services. Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls. Directs and coordinates installation, service, and fire inspection operations Ensures all customer commitments are met and quality products and services are delivered Interacts with customers directly, addressing complaints or concerns Reviews performance data to measure productivity in order to identify areas needing cost controls, program improvement, and future budgeting needs Establishes or implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with board members, organization officials, or staff members Establishes and/or maintains production and quality control standards Reviews and updates estimated labor hours on company software for accurate installation/service labor hour estimations Oversees project management, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements and equipment needs Directs administrative activities related to project management and job costing Monitors suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively providing needed goods or services within budgetary limits Coordinates and manages projects, communicating changes and updating timelines as needed Coordinates activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources and equipment Trains employees on applicable company, government, and customer policies, procedures, or regulations Observes safety and security procedures, coordinates field safety meetings Performs fieldwork as needed Other duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience in the electronic security industry (intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control) Demonstrated ability to lead a team and motivate staff members Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
