Mid land University (Fremont, NE) is seeking an exceptional faculty member and visionary leader with experience teaching and working in Athletic Training. Primary teaching responsibilities will include Master's of Athletic Training courses in Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, or General Medical Conditions. Additional teaching responsibilities will vary depending on expertise but could include a variety of undergraduate courses from: Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Strength and Conditioning, or related fields. Highly qualified applicants will demonstrate the ability to think innovatively, foster an engaging teaching environment, and collaborate with partners internally and externally. Qualifications: Certified Athletic Trainer with Master's degree in a relevant field required; terminal degree preferred Demonstrated excellence in teaching a variety of courses related to Athletic Training Relevant clinical practice Commitment to fostering an inclusive atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students Creating dynamic and relevant learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster a collegial work environment that encourages change and innovation; and an ability to interact effectively and work productively, cooperatively, and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups Knowledge of emerging practices and trends in education Experience with leading continuous improvement Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Passion for developing students as professionals Evidence of best practices in effective use of technology in athletic training education Compensation:Wages are commensurate with education, experience and individual strengths.
