Title: Manager, IT Service Desk Department: IT Service Desk Bargaining Unit: NBU Grade: N/A Position Type: Exempt Status: Full Time Position Summary Manages IT Service Desk and partners with other aspects of IT, 3rd party, and business to ensure successful outcomes. Leads the IT service teams responsible in delivering excellent IT customer service. Assists in driving IT culture to ensure service-oriented culture - treating employees as internal customers and establishing SLAs. "Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role." Key Duties and Responsibilities Manages end user access and equipment lifecycle for service des /IT process. IT Service Desk Management and achievement of KPIs/ SLAs Management of IT access request form on intranet and documentation knowledge base articles, SOPs etc. Responsible for and coordinator for IT Service Desk page on the ZAS intranet (ZNet). Manage End user inventory and procurement management (software, workstations, mobile devices, printers) to ensure equipment meets company needs and budget Make recommendations to improve operation efficiency. Manage IT Service budget, including reviewing invoices for accuracy and approving payments Management of adherence of IT Service tools (ITSM, patching, MDM, etc.) Manage IT Service desk special projects including communications and coordination of meetings. Lead Change Advisory Board, including communications and coordination of meetings. Primary point of contact for managing IT service desk escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Manages Root Cause Analysis Responsible of managing and supporting a team of service desk technicians. Mentoring team, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations. Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field Or High School Diploma and 5 years in an IT Operations or Infrastructure position with ITSM experience and an additional 2 years of IT Service desk supervisor or management experience. Ability to create and maintain strong internal and external business contacts to foster accountability, to work independently and as part of a team, and to meet deadlines and efficiently and effectively solve problems. Well-organized with special attention to detail. Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
