Position Summary This position encompasses responsibilities for preparing the payroll for hourly and salary employees and providing support in accounting and general office operations. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Additional education on payroll processes, taxation, finance, etc. 1-3 years' experience processing payroll Requires mathematical computational skills Good bookkeeping and accounting skills Working knowledge of payroll preparation Working knowledge of office equipment including but not limited to computer, calculator, fax machine and copier Working knowledge of general office procedures Very good computer skills Qualifications Desired Associates degree in finance, accounting, etc. 5+ years' experience processing payroll in a manufacturing environment, with multiple locations and payroll deadlines Essential Functions & Responsibilities Process payroll for hourly employees and salary for all locations Update computer system relative to changes in rates, address, etc. Track vacation eligibility got Carbondale hourly employees Generate payroll reports for 401k, 941 forms, quarterly earnings, municipal tax reports and W2 forms Perform backup assistance to remote locations for Timetrak and provide payroll assistance. System administrator for Timetrak software for Carbondale and remote locations Prepare 401k for month end journal vouchers Verify and correct all timecard issues with shop leadership in Timetrak Enter all miscellaneous pay including vacation and holiday into Timetrak Coordinate for training in Timetrak for all divisions Confidentiality is a must Manage all information in ABRA for payroll purposes Prepare 401k for all deposits and payments and handles all 401k processing Process medical insurance bills Keep track of all federal and state tax deposits for all companies for all payrolls Regular attendance is required Performs other duties as assigned Job Posted by ApplicantPro
