Townsen Memorial is looking to hire a MRI Tech to join our team in the Med Center ! The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, driven, and a team player. RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate MRI scanners used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients Ensure the procedure produces quality images and information for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis Positions patient and set up and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality MRI image of the specific body area requested by the physician Takes preventative steps to ensure safety of patients and fellow staff Takes extra care to screen all patients to make sure patients do NOT have any metal in or on the patient's body REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree radiological technology One year of radiology experience in a healthcare facility Radiology Technologist Certification Medical Resonance Imaging BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision 401k with employer contribution PTO Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
