Make a difference with us at WestLand! Our Engineering Department has an exciting opportunity for a Senior CAD Designer with our water/wastewater engineering team! This position collaborates with the engineering teams in both the Phoenix and Tucson offices. If you have AutoCAD experience and a strong sense of commitment to CAD and File Management standards and procedures, this may be the perfect fit for you! What will I be doing? Drafting plans and creating detail technical drawings with interdisciplinary teams of engineers and designers to produce uniform and cohesive sets of construction-ready documents. Revising and updating plans to reflect changes in design or scope. Researching the standards and specifications of various municipalities, utilities, and other agencies to ensure compliance with said standards. Working on multiple projects simultaneously and potentially with competing deadlines. Managing the creation, storage, and distribution of CAD and other technical documents in accordance with Westland's standards and procedures. Occasionally coordinating deliverables to or from subcontractors, vendors, and partner consultants. What qualifications are required for this role? Associate degree or technical computer Aided Drafting certification preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of AutoCAD experience required. Ten (10) years preferred. Experience with Civil 3D required. Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Revit preferred. Experience working as part of an engineering team in the water/wastewater field required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 products (Teams, Word, Excel, Project, Outlook). Ability to prioritize workloads and work independently. What does WestLand offer you?
