Townsen Memorial is seeking an Electronic Health Records (EHR) Analyst in Humble, TX . The ideal candidate with have direct knowledge of IT Systems, and as a liaison between our organization and vendors with a focus on implementation and optimization of EHR systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate and demonstrate leadership in the ongoing implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the HER and associated systems, including end user support, vendor management, project management. Coordinates and adheres to strict implementation project schedules and handle multiple assignments. Ensure interdepartmental coordination of EHR and associated systems on-going maintenance activities including software validation, content development, user acceptance testing, and business process re-engineering. Partner and collaborate with, IT network/infrastructure department, and managers to ensure functionality of the system is efficient and effective for each department's workflows and processes. Monitoring, updating, and completing workorder support tickets. Research, evaluate and make recommendations regarding the implementation, support, and optimization of EHR, related software applications, hardware, and infrastructure. Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with the EMR system. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains product functionalities REQUIREMENTS: Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with a team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to details Bachelor's degree One (1) year of directly related experience, including clinical experience in a healthcare IT setting Two (2) years of electronic health/medical records experience BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision through BCBS 401k PTO accrual About Us: Townsen Memorial Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited surgical hospital that also has multiple outpatient departments in the Houston metropolitan area.
