Klik-Klok Operator SUMMARY Responsible for ensuring package integrity for all finished product manufactured on product line. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Working knowledge of operation of different types of process equipment Ability to follow packaging schedule Inspect codes, labels, weights, x-ray machine, and proper change over procedures on product line on a continuous basis Responsible for quality of products, ensuring that product meets quality standards while passing through klik- klok machine for packaging Working knowledge of all sanitary practices as they pertain to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment washouts Responsible for the speed/ velocity in which klik- klok is running Consistently restock product boxes for the klik- klok Assist in cleaning and maintaining packaging line area clean Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Language Skills Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Certificates, Licenses, Registrations This job does not require any specific certificates, licenses, or registrations. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high places; extreme cold; extreme heat; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, therefore hearing protection is not required.
