Bill Howe is currently hiring an Drain Lining Technician. Additionally, this position will provide the candidate an opportunity for advancement based on performance. Summary The Lead Drain Lining Technician will perform tasks involving physical labor for epoxy lining and plumbing projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, build epoxy liners, clean up rubble, debris, and remove waste materials. May assist other technicians and teams. The Lining Technician will also assist with other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Fully stock vans each morning with product and consumables. Assist cleaning sewer line in preparation for lining. Ability to adapt to various projects and environments. Must be proficient in problem solving. Responsible for a clean worksite. Ensures best safety practices are used. Responsible for daily paperwork Clean DMV record. Construction experience a plus. Able to work cohesively with other technicians and office staff. Qualifications Represent Bill Howe Family of Companies in a professional manner Clean DMV record and driver's license required Amazing customer service skills Mechanical skills Troubleshooting Team Oriented Core Competencies Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers. Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time. Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions. Demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations and procedures to develop effective solutions. Physical Requirements This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools. While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Environmental Conditions Travel to a variety of worksites every day. May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust. May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights.
