MKS Atotech , a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, equipment and software used in the printed circuit board, semiconductor and connector industries, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. Responsibilities Include: This position is responsible for general preventative maintenance activities in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment in a safe and timely manner. The maintenance activities of this position will have an emphasis on the Electrical Equipment in the facility, as well as maintenance activities on mechanical equipment, air conditioning equipment, etc., which require basic knowledge in preventative maintenance activities such as pipefitting, rigging, millwright, etc. Important Soft Skills: Electrical Equipment skills with Voltage ranging from 480 or 208 Volts AC, 3 phase Power, Motor Control Centers, Programmable Logic Controls and their functions, and Control Signals 1 to 10 VDC to 4-20 ma systems. Extensive knowledge of the National Electric Code including the ability to design, develop material take-off, ordering, and installation to meet State or Federal Standards. The knowledge of running conduit and pulling wire including maintaining suitable stock levels of electrical supplies. Troubleshooting all Electrical Systems from incoming Utility Power, Standalone panel systems, or Distributive Control Systems, and control wiring as they arise. Mechanical Equipment skills are a plus, including Centrifugal and Pneumatic Pumps, Fans, Bearings, and Hydraulic System with operating pressures up to 200 psi. Air Conditioning Equipment knowledge is a plus, including Differential Pressure Transmitter operation, Chilled Water Systems, Air Handlers, Ceiling Heat Boxes, and standalone cooling units. Basic knowledge in other mechanical fields of Preventative Maintenance activities, Pipefitting, Rigging, Millwright, etc. It is also N ice if Y ou H ave : 5 to 10 years' experience in the maintenance field with a very good knowledge of State and Federal Codes. The candidate will have to supply their own hand tools and be able to work any shift, available for call-ins and overtime. A background in the chemical industry is a plus. The ability to wear a respirator will be a requirement. We are interested in a qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
