As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, including managing staff, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Previous work experience working in a warehouse and in a management role is beneficial. The ability to delegate when assigning employee workloads and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency and experience with warehouse management software are required. Knowledge and experience with RFID picking technology are required. Microsoft Office Proficiency is required. Order processing experience with retailers including EDI knowledge and UPS, USPS, and FEDEX software proficiency is required. The ability to remain stationary for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor and work a normal 40-hour workweek from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility. WHAT WILL I DO? Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments (incoming and outgoing). Communicate with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems. Responsible for monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy Ensure inventory and storage areas and working spaces are clean and maintained. Monitor warehouse associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery. Resolve issues and build relationships with freight accounts and negotiate rates when applicable. Assign workloads and daily tasks to warehouse associates. Assist the Director with data and information needed for monthly reports.
