A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAR PORTER - SHOP ASSISTANT In this entry-level position at our car dealership, you play a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. Always safety conscious, you pay close attention to your surroundings as you move vehicles between our dealership and auto body shop. You also retrieve customers' vehicles from the parking lot, making sure all people and other vehicles stay safely out of harm's way. In addition to transporting cars, you also wash vehicles as well as maintain the shop and parking lot areas, keeping everything neat and organized.
