Summer Camp Supervisor

This is a part-time, temporary, seasonal position. This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the overall camp program and approves all daily camp activities; communicates with parents, guardians and other camp staff during, and after, camp hours of operation; provides care, safety, protection, and supervision of the camp environments, staff, and participants; performs other duties as requested, and assigned. * Please see attached for a further list of duties & responsibilities. Qualifications & Requirements - Must be at least 21 years of age - Possession of a High School Diploma or a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test. - Prior experience in a Summer Day Camp setting for a minimum of two years - Obtained at least 60 credit hours of college courses at an accredited college or university. - Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification prior to camp start date - Must be available to work between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday during camp season - Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills and initiative - P ossess a valid Michigan Driver's License, automobile insurance, and dependable transportation.
