Join us in creating appealing interiors that people will remember! YOUR ROLE AS A MILLWORK SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER As a Millwork Senior Project Manager, you are essential to the success of our jobs. From beginning to end, you are on your game, overseeing details and making sure everything falls into place. As a new job launches, you attend the kick-off meeting and ensure that the proper documentation is ready to go. You then make sure that the elevations are complete, acquire approvals, and develop a checklist for the customer. Working closely with the production manager, you track each order and let the customer know about any delays. You also work with the purchasing manager to ensure that we have all the materials we need. Once an order is manufactured, you coordinate its delivery and assign a crew to complete the installation. Keeping a close eye on the punch list, you ensure that each step is completed in a safe and timely manner. In addition, you review monthly billing and address any contract discrepancies that arise. You also check on our manufacturing facility in Tijuana and make occasional visits to our facilities around the country. In your job, every day brings a new and interesting challenge. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MILLWORK SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER Knowledge about relationships between general contracts and sub-contractors Ability to interpret construction plans and written specifications Familiarity with FSC, LEED, W.I.C., and AWI woodworking standards Familiarity with various finishes and materials used in architectural woodworking Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to present proposals in both written and verbal form Proficiency with basic geometry, math, tape measure usage, and template cutting A working knowledge of MS Access and MS Project would be a plus but isn't required. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A MILLWORK SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER This project management position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm , and requires some flexibility for occasional after-hours or weekend work.
