Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a full-time Float Front Desk Coordinator to join the Practice Management team! Description: This is a full-time position, days and hours will vary according to the needs of the department. The Float Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for all front desk functions as well as assisting with patient care when called upon by the physician. Other responsibilities include coordinating patient flow and ensure care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently; collect patient data, demographics, insurance information, and payments; accurately enter the obtained information into the electronic health record; meanwhile floating between practices. The Front Desk coordinator duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center's policies, procedures and current professional standards. Requirements: High school diploma or higher. Previous physician office or healthcare setting experience preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Intermediate computer knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills required. Your Health, Our Passion!
