We are looking for a committed Montessori Teacher to complement our qualified workforce. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process. Responsibilities Present lessons in a comprehensive manner Provide individualized instruction to each student Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom Collaborate with other teachers and parents in regular meetings Plan educational in-class and outdoor activities Observe and understand students' behavior Develop professional skills and knowledge Skills Proven experience as a Montessori teacher Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and the school's policies and procedures Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills Well-organized and committed Creative and energetic Strong moral values and discipline Knowledge of First aid and CPR, willing to train Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Montessori Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Montessori Certification (Preferred) Physical Requirements Must be able to work and keep up with young children. The teacher must be able to stand for long periods of time; they must have the capability to both see and hear the children. May be expected to lift up to 50 pounds.
