Summary Objective The purpose of this position is for the supervision of swimming and various recreational activities at a municipal pool or recreational facility and the prompt performance of emergency lifesaving and first aid skills as occasions require. This class works under general supervision while independently developing work methods and sequences. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent. At least sixteen (16) years old. Requires lifeguarding certification. Special Certifications and Licenses: Lifeguarding Certification to include CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid training. This position requires the successful passing of a background check and drug screening . All applicants must upload an educational diploma/degree, a valid State of Florida Driver's License, and certifications to the document section of the online application.
