BAS / Controls Project Developer: Provide technical sales support to a team of Salespeople to achieve goals for price, volume, and share for Controls as Prime and Solutions businesses. Essential Duties: - Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet all of the clients HVAC system design and installation requirements - Develop long-term controls migration strategies for clients with legacy systems - Develop estimates and budgets for controls projects - Develop, evaluate and discuss possible solutions with Account Executives and clients - Assist with Sales funnel for Controls as Prime and Comprehensive Solutions Businesses - Assist with reports to track leads and opportunities from inception through closure - Maintain knowledge of Intelligent Services offerings and best practices - Coordinate Project Development & Energy Engineering needs with Energy Solutions Leader - Participate in sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of the sales estimate and job layout. - Coordinate with consulting engineers in writing project specifications - Coordinate with Estimators in the interpretation of specifications and preparation of proposals - Assist clients in answering technical questions about Boland systems, products, and their applications and maintenance - Select and develop favorable HVAC projects for quotation, develop project scopes, perform and document project site surveys, acquire and interpret quotation documentation, and effective product selection. - Perform pre-quotation project qualification and coordination with project team members. - Additional duties as assigned Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience - Minimum 5-10 years of experience in controls systems projects, integrations, and project development - Strong working knowledge in HVAC mechanical, Electrical systems, automated temperature controls and/or HVAC/Building Automation systems required - Trane Controls and Tridium Niagara experience preferred - Working Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Project Management software. - Able to meet deadlines, quick learner, analytic driven. - Effective communication and writing skills. - Self-motivated, detailed, strong communication and organizational skills, high energy, multi-tasker, and team player.
