We are a leading mental health clinic in Spokane, Washington, specializing in ADHD diagnosis and treatment for both adults and children. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team to provide exceptional patient care.Responsibilities: Assisting in the treatment of patients with ADHD Obtaining patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Preparing exam rooms Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Scheduling and confirming appointments with patients Updating patient medical records accurately and in a timely manner Assisting with insurance verification and billing Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of exam rooms and other clinic areas Assisting with other tasks as required by physicians and management Requirements: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred but not required Must be eligible for licensure as a Medical Assistant-Registered in WA state Prior experience working in a mental health clinic or in a specialty clinic Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new clinical procedures and technologies Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information We offer competitive compensation, health benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
