Junior Project Manager

We are actively looking for talented, rising Junior Project Manager to help deliver SpiderRock's ongoing software development projects and support our Project Manager with strategic Agile project management and project delivery for our internal projects. This role reports directly to the Project Manager in our Enterprise Operations team and is a full-time salaried position. What You Will Do: Assist our Project Manager to coordinate all communications and tasks with Upper Management, Support Teams, Contractors and Developers to lead software development project delivery. Assist in coordinating and executing sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups. Gain competence and experience in areas of Project Management utilizing Agile methodology. Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. Monitoring progress and performance and help teams to make improvements. Helping product owners and development team to achieve customer satisfaction. Engage in day-to-day project tasks, activities, budgets, costs, schedules, risk, changes, and scope. Create and interact with detailed project schedules, milestones, and critical paths. Participate in regular status meetings with project team. Create and deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations. Respond to all forms of communication in a timely manner. Prepare documents, metrics, reports, and other deliverables Work with various team to resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks that occur. What SpiderRock Is Looking For: 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline or equivalent work experience 1-3 years of experience delivering projects and project management Proficient with Microsoft products and digital technology. Previous experience in software development and/or financial services desired Scrum Master or other Agile certifications as well as working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban a plus. Knowledge of Jira and Agile a huge plus. Self-motivated and able to motivate others. Exhibits professional and personal integrity. Possesses leadership skills. Performs well in a team-oriented atmosphere. Demonstrate productive time and resource management skills. Arrives to work, meetings, and discussions punctual, intentional, and focused. Possesses the ability to demonstrate and apply critical thinking methods and advanced problem-solving techniques. Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients, teammates, and work with technical initiatives. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Work in a high energy environment and takes ownership of tasks.
