The Clermont County Public Library is seeking a full-time Facilities Supervisor to join the Facilities team at Clermont County Public Library! Based out of the Miami Township branch, the Facilities Supervisor, working with the Facilities Manager, assists in the daily operation of the Facilities Department, including supervision of the shuttle service and maintenance staff. Qualifications: A broad range of facilities knowledge acquired through an Associate's degree, and/or vocational certifications plus three or more years' of increasingly responsible experience preferably in a multi-facility system. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, required. Experience using computers with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and statistics. Experience with department budgets preferred. Must have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record. Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends, including emergencies. Description: Assists Facilities Manager with the operation of the Facilities Department. Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, ensures facilities, grounds, equipment, vehicles and furnishings are safe, secure, and well maintained. Supervises shuttle and maintenance staff including hiring, training, monitoring and evaluating performance. Schedules interlibrary shuttle and vendors. Maintains inventory for daily facility operations. Writes reports and makes necessary recommendations for repairs. Oversees Library security system and key assignments. Performs maintenance tasks as required. Works with Facilities Manager to develop facilities budget. Performs the functions of the Facilities Manager in their absence.
