WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU The River Source offers industry leading, cost-effective, treatment for those in need. The mission of the Behavioral Health Technician is it to take responsibility for leading clients in their day-to-day activities at The River Source. You will also guide clients in groups and in life skill development while maintaining a professional demeanor. As a BHT you will have the opportunity to work with the Treatment Team to ensure the success of each client. You will also possess the following skills: Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Task prioritization and delegation skills Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to function on a team. WHAT YOU WILL BRING High school diploma or GED, and a combination of behavioral health education and/or work experience totaling a minimum of one year. (Associate's degree preferred) 1+ years experience in a substance abuse treatment facility Ability to pass E-Verify and Background check. M ust be able to pass a Tuberculosis screening (TB test ) prior to employment . The work environment is that characteristic of residential behavioral health treatment services. Must be able to stand, sit, and travel to all areas of the facility and meetings as necessary; as well as read, write, and comprehend the English language. This includes any identifying information concerning current, past, or prospective clients Remote work is not available for this position. Salary: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour Shifts Available: Mid-shift, Day-shift and Overnight
