Learn more about us in this video: https://bit.ly/3juttFa and visit our website: https://www.smeinc.com/ Job Snapshot: Our Civil group undertakes a wide range of projects with a particular focus on the evaluation and design of dams, landfills, reservoirs, storm water management, slope repairs, and erosion and sediment control. Development of conceptual designs, engineering analysis of design alternatives, drawing/detail preparation, construction cost estimating, specification preparation, construction site inspections Proposal and report preparation, schedule and budget management, and communication with internal and external clients Project planning and management, assessing project risks, reviewing project elements for completeness and accuracy, and determining design methodologies Mentoring and supporting junior staff Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering A minimum of 3 years' experience in Water Resources/Civil Engineering 1+ years as a project manager Experience with either hydraulic and hydrologic analyses or geotechnical analyses Proven ability to execute technical aspects of a wide range of projects within a specific region Excellent business and technical writing skills Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with erosion and sedimentation controls, roadway design, site design, or other civil projects Why work at S&ME?
