Description:
Responsible for receiving, storing and shipping products per Kamco's work orders. Perform inventory cycle counts as required, coordinate and schedule deliveries with dispatch, and handle UPS shipping and receiving. Assisting customers with loading of materials in their vehicles for pick-up orders, and providing backup to over-the-counter door sales when needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Including but not limited to the following: Receives in materials and conveys them to storage and/or other designated areas Pulls material per Kamco's orders for delivery, customer pickup and transfers Communicate with shop managers, dispatch and/or salespeople regularly Regularly operates a forklift and pallet jack Maintains work area - i.e., Materials returned to shelves, keep isles clean and accessible, sweeps, etc. Must follow all safety rules and policies, including all mandated safety protective equipment Normal working hours 6:30am to 4:00pm Qualifications Must be detail oriented Experience as a shipper/receiver preferred, but will train the right individual Experience in doors, frames and hardware a plus Must have computer experience Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment physical , including a drug screen . Kamco Vermont is offering a sign-on bonus effective March 16, 2023 through April 30, 2023 for the following positions: WHSE/COUNTER SALES $ 1000 One half of the bonus will be paid after successful completion of 90 calendar days. The balance will be paid after the successful completion of 6 months. Must complete full 6 months of employment for final payout.
