Intern, Training and Development The MWRA Training and Development department has a paid Intern position and is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of administrative tasks, and assist Training and Development staff in the creation of electronic database for archived documents. In addition, this position will support the Training and Development Department in a myriad of office related functions including, but not limited to, reception coverage, mail room support, copying, scanning, and database creation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and recommend LinkedIn Learning classes for professional development, leadership, project management, diversity, and other topics. Assists in the development of curriculum for various departments or groups of employees. Research virtual classes offered by outside vendors based on a variety of topics. Request proposals from outside vendors for virtual training classes. Supports all routine administrative functions including organizing records and creating electronic records of correspondence, filing, copying, reception. Development of spreadsheets for tracking course registrations, attendance, and completion. Qualifications: College Junior or Senior education in a human resources or management major Familiarity with scanning software/applications. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software especially Excel and Word. Familiarity with WebEx Meeting and WebEx Training Good communication skills Ability to work independently and accomplish task with minimal supervision. Pursuit of a college degree. Other Information: Work Location: MWRA, 2 Griffin Way, Chelsea, MA. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:00PM. Internship duration: May - August. How to Apply : Apply online at www.mwra.com .
