Essential Functions: Lead Support engineer for the region Work in a team as well as individually Maintain AEVEX's networks and systems Implement new AEVEX networks and systems as needed Take the lead on individual infrastructure projects Support AEVEX's users Assist on ongoing programs requiring Information Technology knowledge Verify and maintain federal compliance for AEVEX's networks, systems, and users. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Degree in information technology field of study or 4 years or more in related experience. 3 years' experience working in a Level 1 or higher support role CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 Level II certification or Microsoft Cloud certification preferred Additional related Information Technology certifications preferred Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required Excellent verbal and written communication Strong research and analytical capabilities Exemplary customer service record Experience heading up technical projects (research to implementation) Experience with the following: Active Directory, Office 365, and/or Azure Administration Windows (Server/Desktop) and Linux Operating Systems Networking (Basic Switching/Routing, PFSense Firewalls, VPNs) Virtualization (ESXi/Hyper-V/Cloud) Microsoft/Azure Cisco Familiarity with VoIP Working knowledge/concepts for light Database Administration (Preferably Oracle) Understanding of workstation, server, and network hardware Familiarity with SharePoint or other CMS Experience with security compliance (i.e. DFARS, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, etc.) Scripting capabilities in one or more languages (primarily Powershell) AEVEX provides a full suite of comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k)-retirement plan, comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life insurance group coverage with a portion of the premiums paid by the company, professional development funds, and an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) with counseling, legal help, child and elder care support, among other benefits.
