We are seeking an experienced CNC Toolmaker to work from blueprints, drawings, models, and/or sketches to repair tools for production of die casting molds, trim dies, and tooling fixtures. Salary range: $38 - $42 per hour ESSENTITAL DUTIES: Working from blueprints, drawings, models, and/or sketches to repair tools for production of die casting molds, trim dies, and tooling fixtures. Review blueprints or drawings for machining capability. Programs, sets up, cleans, and conducts various repairs on die casting tools Observes machine operation to detect early work piece defects or machine malfunction Ability to work and communicate with tool makers and engineers, or other personnel to produce desired tooling, fixtures, castings, or other parts. Other assigned duties as needed REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma 4-year college degree, or equivalent education with an emphasis on Machine Shop Technology and CNC training; or a minimum of 4 years industry-related experience Knowledge of conventional EDM and wire EDM machines Proficiency with conventional mill, conventional lathe, surface grinder, and drill press Proficiency with programming software - specifically Master CAM and SolidWorks Ability to perform quick math calculations using geometry and trigonometry Ability to read blueprints, interpret 3D models, understand sketches, and oral and written instructions in English Must be able to understand and communicate in English We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes: Kaiser medical plan Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Basic Short Term Disability Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance provided at no cost.
