We are seeking an individual that is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults and focused on making memorable experiences through leisure activities, outings, and other creative outlets.If your passion is to plan, organize, and implement activity programs and truly affect the daily lives of our seniors, we are interested in you!Come work where tradition is rich and your hard work will be appreciatedExperience in activity programming and long term care preferred but not required Part Time positions now available! Duties: Include but are not limited to:Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing activity programs within the facilityLead structured groups and evaluate the activity program satisfactionInvolve the residents and families in planning activity programs, objectives and goals when possibleCoordinate activities with other departments as necessaryDevelop and maintain a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnelObserve resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement and ensure that all activity participation is charted efficientlyMaintain the confidentiality of all resident care information (HIPAA)Maintain a clean, neat appearance and wears the appropriate uniform or attire Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentMust be able to pass pre-employment physical.Ability to read, write and speak and understand EnglishAbility and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnelAbility to professionally interact with personnel, residents, family members, and visitors, government agencies and general publicDemonstrates patience, compassion, enthusiasm and a cheerful dispositionAbility to make independent decisions, follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism Job Posted by ApplicantPro
