Lead FIT Therapist Location: Charlotte County, FL $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Position Summary Responsible for providing professional guidance, supervision, and training of direct service staff in Charlotte County. Maintains supervision with staff for quality assurance. Monitors staff's productivity and timeliness standards. Maintains a partial caseload providing direct services in Charlotte and Lee Counties. Provides clinical oversight of services: assessing and treating substance use or co-occurring disorders, assessment of and management of risk, development and implementation of individualized services plans, ensure evidenced based therapeutic services, which incorporate: behavioral health goals, Caregiver Protective Capacities, and Parenting interventions. Provides solution-focused individual, marital, group, or family therapy for patients, as necessary. Staff difficult cases with Director who serves as the Program Manager. Maintain impeccable professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and standards. Meet targets and provide services following the standards in accordance with the FIT Guidance Document. Participate in meetings, staffing's, presentations, and special projects, as needed. Minimum Requirements: Masters or Doctoral degree in behavioral health sciences, such as mental health counseling, social work, art therapy, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. FL License or Certified Addiction Professional preferred. Minimum two (2) years' experience working with adults with substance use disorders. Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience. Ability to pass Level II Background clearance, drug test (CBHC is a drug free workplace) Valid FL driver's license, insurance, and safe driving record Dependable transportation (registered, safe operating conditions, etc.) Knowledge and skills in treating co-occurring population preferred. Ability to evaluate patient needs and provide direct services. Ability to work effectively with other staff/departments, patients, and community agencies. Thorough knowledge of rules and regulations (including Florida's Mental Health Act) pertaining to the care and treatment of individuals with psychiatric or phase of life problems, including overall treatment concepts and objectives. Ability to provide services in the community Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
