Southside Christian is currently seeking a Beyond the Classroom Coordinator to supervise the Sabre Kids Time (after-school care) and Summer Quest (summer program). This is a twelve-month position with a start date of June 1, 2023. A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred and experience in management is a plus. The Beyond the Classroom Coordinator must be able to manage both programs effectively, lead with excellence, support Early Education office staff as needed, and create an engaging, relational, and joy-filled environment. The applicant must demonstrate excellence in planning, teamwork, and communication. The person must be able and willing to meet the requirements for DSS licensing. Anyone who serves in this position must have a personal relationship with Christ and be passionate about discipling young children. Southside Christian School is a Christ-centered institution, located in Greenville South Carolina, with a desire to partner with Christian parents in providing an excellent education consistent with biblical truth. Qualified candidates desiring to work at SCS will give testimony of being a evangelical, protestant born-again believer in Jesus Christ with a passion to serve Him in Christian education. Candidates must agree with the school's philosophies, Statement of Faith, and Statement of Christian Life Commitment, while being committed to the mission, goals, and objectives of SCS. Qualified candidates will understand the need to develop a biblical worldview in students by creating an excellent, engaging, relational, biblically integrated, and joy filled learning environment. Candidates will have a strong work ethic and desire to work effectively as part of the Early Education Team. Applicants must have a commitment to the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of Christian schooling, by enrolling their eligible children in Southside Christian School.
