Marketing Coordinator : Assists the Vice President of Marketing & Communications with implementing marketing strategies for the following departments: Membership, Fitness, Group Fitness, Youth, Aquatics, & Camp Cormorant. Assists with developing, coordinating, and administering promotions, advertisements, and other marketing-related materials 1) to the community on behalf of the assigned departments; and 2) to the members, participants, and stakeholders in those departments on behalf of other YMCA departments Works with the marketing team to provide content for YMCA social media accounts, and works closely with assigned departments to make sure that we are meeting their needs on organization-wide accounts and department-specific accounts Attends community events, and assists with the facilitation of partnership opportunities at such events for assigned departments Assists with management of marketing budget GLs for assigned departments Works closely with assigned departments to collect, create, and distribute stories across the organization in an effort to highlight the YMCA's mission and impact Assists with the development, maintenance, and execution of YMCA communication platforms, such as the website, mobile apps, social media, newsletters, and other messaging platforms Pay & Benefits : $17.40+ hour Full-Time Free Family/Household Package YMCA Membership. Paid Time Off - The YMCA believes that time away from work is beneficial to your health and welfare. PTO includes all vacation, sick, and holiday time combined into one account. You will start accruing PTO immediately upon hire and you may begin using it immediately. 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employee's monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met: The employee has been employed with the YMCA for 2 years. The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods. The employee is 21 years of age or older. Health, Dental & Vision Insurance: The cost is shared by the YMCA and the employee. Participation may begin on the first of the month following 30 days of Full-Time Employment at the YMCA. Qualifications : 2-year Degree in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of directly related experience, training and/or education Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Prefer a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Sales or related field Strong graphic design skills required, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite Strong communication and customer service skills required, both verbally and written Experience with Microsoft Office, website editing, and social media platforms Experience with photography and videography, including shooting and editing Highly organized, motivated, and attentive to detail Working knowledge of YMCA mission, brand, and offerings We invite you to join us in this amazing work to develop your skills, to realize your leadership potential and to discover a career that is more than just a job.
