Overview: As the VSC Adjuster I you will provide world-class customer service and adjudicate all claims-related information. Responsibilities: Verify contracts and vehicle eligibility for coverage Record and assign inspections as required Verify component coverage through contract codes Use AllData systems to research TSB's maintenance information, diagnostic procedures, component locations, and recalls Negotiate problems and customer complaints in a satisfactory manner Use flat rate manuals for parts and labor verification Apply contract terms, conditions, and coverage to all claims Maintain and update warranty reference file Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1 -2 years of work experience in a call center with a proven ability to multitask ASE or manufacturer certification is preferred but not required Must be computer literate and possess superior organizational skills Excellent customer service skills MUST be punctual with Excellent Attendance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sound judgment and common sense application of the contract terms and conditions are essential for this position Must possess expertise in negotiation and motivation of others as well as have excellent interpersonal skills The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Targeted Success Dimensions: 8 - 9 calls/Busy hour Excellent customer service skills Accurate documentation of claims adjudication process Wide overall job knowledge Excellent attendance Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, wear a headset and required to look at a computer for long periods of the day. The employee must be able to sit for long periods of the day as well.
