As a Summer Camp Counselor you will encourage growth and development through play, planand prepare daily discussions and activities focusing on the weekly theme, fosterimagination, use positive reinforcement techniques, help the children in your care buildpositive relationships, and help them grow physically, academically, socially, andemotionally.Please see attached for an example summer camp calendar.Ages of children- 5 who have completed kindergarten to 12 years oldDaily field trips inculde splash pads, parks for orgainzed sports, local hikes, City Rec centers for swimming, alogn with many more some including arcades, bowling, laser tag etc.Requirements:Must be 21 years old to transport the children. Must be 18 years old to apply and have admin transport you to field trips.● First aid and CPR ● Food handlers permit● Ability to pass a background check● High school diplomaExpectations● Come to work every day with a positive attitude● Be a team player● Willingness to grow and improve● Passionate about helping the children in your care and their families● Effective communication skills● Problem solving skills● A self starter● Positive in your interactions with other staff and Supervisors (no gossiping) Job Posted by ApplicantPro
