Position Description The Business Development Specialist reports to the Director of Sales and their main objective is market growth. Market growth is achieved by acquiring new direct customers, System Integrators and creating strong vendor relationships.Principal Expectations of Position:• New client acquisition• Manage weekly and monthly forecasts against yearly revenue targets• Responsible for acquiring new customer, Value Added Reseller and System Integrators• Interdepartmental communication to support customers training and technical assistance• Represents the Company at conferences and other networking events, including presenting and participating in panel discussions as applicable Essential Competencies • Highly motivated, independent initiator with strong self-management abilities• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written• Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills• Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills• Strong organizational and analytical skills• Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite• NetSuite experience preferred• Serve as an extension of the CTIconnect brand and embody all policies and procedures as set forth by the company Work Environment • Remote Required Experience • 3-5 years of business development or applicable sales experience Travel Requirements • Domestic travel 25-50% Additional Requirements • Additional duties as assigned
