CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift Position Summary One (1) opening for 1st shift. Hours M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm Operates computer numeric control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts which meet the required quality standards by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, or enters commands to retrieve computerized machine control media Troubleshoot machine and maintains machine operations Performs a variety of inspection operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specifications Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of proven machining experience; or one-year certificate with six months of machining experience; or equivalent combination of education and training Ability to set and use measuring tools. Ability to read and understand blue prints (GD&T a plus) Ability to read and understand g-code programming.
