COMPASS Inc. is seeking a Counselor to provide services to victims of sexual violence as an Independent Contractor . COMPASS provides services to survivors of rape and sexual abuse - women, children, men - and their loved ones in Carroll, Tuscarawas, and Stark Counties. Their programs include crisis intervention and advocacy, and education and prevention. In this role, you will provide professional counseling services to COMPASS clients in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including laws governing the contractor's professional license. Services will be performed at COMPASS offices. A telehealth option is available for those clients who are not able to attend in-person sessions. You will also be responsible for completing all clinical documentation requirements necessary to detail the counseling services provided. Documentation may include diagnostic assessment, clinical progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, or other necessary clinical documentation. Basic Requirements: Independent Professional Counselor (PCC or PCC-S) or Independent Licensed Social Worker (LISW, LISW-S) in the State of Ohio. The contractor shall be responsible for all continuing education requirements of maintaining professional licensure, including payment for training.
