We are looking for a dynamic candidate that loves camp! Bear Creek Aquatic Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Bear Creek is 183-acres tucked away in Girl Scout Bay on Kentucky Lake playing host to a variety of aquatic sports like sailing, paddling and swimming. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades 4-12 with up to 80 campers and staff. We are seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to aid our Head Cook. Duties include preparing 3 daily meals for campers and staff, managing and cleaning an industrial kitchen, washing and sanitizing dishes, prepping food for cookouts, and more. The Kitchen Assistant should be responsible and attentive. The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the care of our campers and counselors and how to best serve them.
