Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee seeks dedicated full-time RN to work in our outpatient infusion center. Our office is a state-of-the-art medical oncology facility offering full infusion and chemotherapeutic infusion treatments. Facility offers a "small practice environment" with three full-time medical oncologists. Physicians work closely with the nursing staff to oversee treatment of patients and ensure the highest quality patient care. Patients are offered the highest quality care without feeling overwhelmed by a large university type setting. RN in the infusion center is responsible for: Providing direct patient care to all infusion patients Making clinical judgment in an efficient and effective manner Accurate charting and documentation related to all patient care Knowledge of critical lab values, care of extravasation Mixing/Preparing all therapeutic and chemotherapeutic agents Proactive and Responsive during side effect/reaction management Inventory Management Patient Education Requirements - Licensed RN in the State of Florida Ability to insert IVs and access port and central lines Experience in oncology infusion is preferred, however facility offers support for training and becoming ONS certified Experience using electronic medical records Ability to work well in team environment Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment #IND123 Job Posted by ApplicantPro
